I am sure people who choose to DIY on the trim kit will notice that it's not gonna be a 2 hour task. If they only have one car (their Z) for transpotation, then asking the pro to do it still will have some downtime (at least a day). So they will gonna make up their mind on this. Also, you can still drive around even when the interior panels are taken out. This DIY post is perfect for those whose interior is worn out badly, but don't wanna spend close to $1k to fix it (labor + material). I am pretty sure there are some Zers out there who saw this DIY and give them a boost in confidence to start the work. I'm really surprise that you can find a place to do the job for $250. Maybe I should move to CA since the labor is freaking cheap compare to MI. Like I said before, this forum need more people to post anything that can be DIY. The FAQ definitely help a lot here. Now it's up to the forum members to determine wether they can DIY or not. Not you.
